The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) enforce marketing regulations to make sure brands (like supplement, feed and health brands) don’t make medicinal claims about their products if they’re not a registered medicine. 

Classic mistakes are using the words “treat” and “prevent”, or using a disease term like “arthritis”.
